DevOps Engineer
We are seeking a highly motivated DevOps Engineer / Platform Engineer to manage and support our CI/CD, Kubernetes, infrastructure, and production environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring platform reliability, security, scalability, and operational excellence across SIT, UAT, and Production environments. This role requires close collaboration with development, application support, security, and project teams to deliver stable and efficient technology solutions. Key Responsibilities Manage, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable automated build, testing, deployment, and release processes. Administer and support infrastructure and database environments across SIT, UAT, and Production, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability. Perform production support activities, including log extraction, monitoring, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident resolution. Plan and execute Kubernetes cluster upgrades, patching, maintenance, and performance tuning across all environments. Identify, assess, and remediate infrastructure vulnerabilities through security patching and compliance-driven improvements. Implement infrastructure-related Service Requests (SRs) and Change Requests (CRs), including environment provisioning, configuration updates, and platform enhancements. Monitor application and infrastructure health using observability and monitoring tools, proactively resolving potential issues. Collaborate with development teams to support system deployments, release activities, and platform improvements. Develop and maintain automation scripts, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), operational procedures, and technical documentation. Support incident, problem, and change management processes in accordance with organizational standards and service level requirements. Participate in disaster recovery exercises, capacity planning, and platform optimization initiatives. Ensure compliance with security, governance, and operational policies across all managed environments. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum 3 years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, Platform Engineering, System Administration, or a related role. Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration, including cluster deployment, upgrades, troubleshooting, and patch management. Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or equivalent. Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix administration and scripting using Shell, Bash, Python, or PowerShell. Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent. Experience administering and supporting database environments. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk, Dynatrace, or similar solutions. Knowledge of vulnerability management, security hardening, and infrastructure patching best practices. Experience supporting production environments, incident management, and root cause analysis. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Good communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment. Preferred Qualifications Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD), or Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS). Cloud certifications in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Experience in highly available, mission-critical, or large-scale enterprise environments. Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and security scanning tools. Experience with disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity planning.
