We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to lead and enhance our organization's cybersecurity operations, governance, and security infrastructure. The successful candidate will play a critical role in protecting enterprise systems, managing security operations, and ensuring compliance with established security frameworks and policies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain enterprise cybersecurity policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve security processes, including vulnerability management, security patch management, incident response, and security monitoring.
  • Manage and lead Security Operations (SecOps) activities to ensure effective detection, investigation, and remediation of security incidents.
  • Administer and support cybersecurity platforms and technologies, including SIEM, endpoint security, vulnerability management, and threat monitoring solutions.
  • Manage and operate security tools such as ArcSight, Splunk, Trellix (McAfee), and Tenable Nessus.
  • Perform security assessments and reviews to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation measures.
  • Monitor emerging cybersecurity threats, evaluate risks, and implement appropriate security controls.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational, regulatory, and information security requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to strengthen the organization's cybersecurity posture and security architecture.
  • Maintain security documentation, standard operating procedures, and incident records.
  • Lead and mentor cybersecurity team members to ensure operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Support audits, compliance reviews, and security certification initiatives.
  • Attain and maintain relevant certifications and partnerships with key cybersecurity technology vendors.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, security operations, or ICT security.
  • Strong experience in security operations, incident management, vulnerability management, and security governance.
  • Hands-on experience with ArcSight, Splunk, Trellix (McAfee), Tenable Nessus, or equivalent cybersecurity technologies.
  • Good understanding of security frameworks, policies, standards, and best practices.
  • Experience investigating and responding to cybersecurity incidents.
  • Knowledge of security monitoring, threat detection, vulnerability remediation, and risk management.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, Security+, GIAC, or equivalent will be advantageous.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience managing or leading cybersecurity teams.
  • Familiarity with government or enterprise security standards and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in enterprise security architecture and security control implementation.
  • Knowledge of cloud security and modern cybersecurity technologies.
