Project Purchaser within technical industrial projects
About the position
In the role of Project Purchaser, you are responsible for the procurement flow in technical projects, from project handover to final delivery. You ensure that materials, industrial components, equipment, and services are purchased and delivered according to technical specifications, quality requirements, schedules, and budgets.
You work with the entire procurement process, including requests for quotation, supplier evaluation, negotiation, order placement, follow-up, and closing. The role also involves coordinating technical and commercial issues between suppliers, engineering, project management, quality, production, and logistics.
The team is cross-functional and international, with close collaboration between procurement, engineering, quality, project management, and suppliers.
We are looking for you who
We are looking for someone who has post-secondary education or equivalent experience in engineering, supply chain, procurement, or finance. You have at least 5-10 years of experience in project procurement, preferably related to engineer-to-order, industrial systems, or complex technical components and services.
You have a good ability to understand drawings, BOM lists, technical specifications, and quality documentation, and can translate this into effective procurement and sourcing activities. You are accustomed to RFQ processes, cost analysis, negotiation, contracts, and supplier claims, and have experience working in cross-functional project teams.
As a person, you are structured, proactive, and delivery-focused, with the ability to handle multiple projects and changing priorities. You communicate fluently in English, both spoken and written, and Swedish or another relevant local language is a merit.

Practical information
