Our Client is a Power Producer in the renewables sector and has commissioned us to search for the figure of HEAD OF PROJECT DEVELOPMENT & CONSTRUCTION - renewable energy plants

The resource, reporting to the Managing Director Operations, will guarantee the development, engineering, and realization of the Group's renewable plants, ensuring end-to-end management of the project lifecycle. They will focus in particular on site scouting and evaluation, permitting, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning in order to ensure delivery within the scheduled timeframes, respecting approved CAPEX budgets and QHSE standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Governance of the decision-making process and preparation of authorization packages for the board

Coordination of the Business Development, Engineering, and Project & Construction Engineering teams and management of relationships with suppliers, EPC contractor, and external consultants

Project development:

• Supervision of site scouting, preliminary analysis, technical, economic, and environmental feasibility studies,
• Validation of financial models, business cases, and profitability analysis,
• Ensuring correct management of connection requests and related budgets by interfacing with distributors,
• Management of complete authorization processes,
• Validation of preliminary and final design

Engineering Management:

• Technical standardization of PV/Wind plants,
• Approval of engineering solutions and technical studies produced by BD Engineer and external consultants,
• Selection and evaluation of technical suppliers in collaboration with Procurement,
• Ensuring updates on regulations, grid codes, and design standards

Construction Management:

• Transition of projects from RTB to NTP up to PAC,
• Supervision of EPC contract management, overseeing work progress, validating design, monitoring construction sites, managing construction risks, and performing clean handover after PAC to the administrative department.

Economic control and reporting:

• Preparation of Capex for projects under development and construction,
• Prior approval of departmental technical-economic analyses,
• Collaboration with the Finance department for the preparation of periodic reports on budget, liquidity, cash flow, milestones, and risks

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Engineering, preferably in electrical/energy fields
• In-depth knowledge of the renewables sector
• Preliminary and executive design skills
• Asset Management skills
• Consolidated experience in managing permitting and authorization processes (submission, monitoring, integrations, relations with Entities and Authorities)
• Management of relationships with Distributors and TSO/DSO
• Spoken and written English for interaction with Headquarters and Clients.

Complete CCNL Commercio package, Quadro Level

Gross Annual Salary (RAL) in the 60/80K range

MBO 10K (MAX) upon achievement of all targets defined and agreed upon in line with company policies and regulations
