PLANT CONTROLLER

We are looking for a Plant Controller to join the Finance team reporting to the Responsabile AFC, with responsibility for industrial management control in a pharma context. The role will be responsible for reporting, variance analysis, and overseeing planning and costing processes.

Main responsibilities:

• Plant economic control: monitoring production costs, profitability analysis, variances, and trends (volumes, mix, efficiencies, scrap, yields).
• Periodic closings and reporting: coordination of monthly closings on the plant side, main reconciliations, and preparation of reports in compliance with deadlines.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: leading the plant budget/forecast process (volumes, standard costs, headcount, maintenance, utilities, services, etc.) and consolidating inputs from functions.
• Cost accounting and standard costing: definition/updating of standard costs, price/usage/mix variance analysis, support for the tariff/absorption review cycle.
• Industrial KPIs: development and maintenance of KPI dashboards (efficiency, OEE where applicable, yield, scrap, deviations, cost per unit, OTIF) and root cause analysis.
• Continuous improvement: identification of saving opportunities and efficiency improvements in finance processes (reporting automation, data quality, process mining).

The profile sought:

We wish to contact professionals who have gained previous experience (at least 3 years) in audit and/or M&A consulting and subsequently held the role of Controller in structured companies. Knowledge of CDG applied to the production/industrial world is a fundamental requirement.

Requirements

• Degree in Economics/Finance/Management Engineering or similar.
• 5+ years of experience in industrial controlling, preferably in manufacturing companies - pharma, chemical, medical devices, food, or FMCG.
• Excellent knowledge of plant P&L, industrial accounting, standard costing, and variance analysis.
• Proficiency with ERP (SAP preferred) and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) + advanced Excel.
• Fluent English (reporting to HQ).
