A company operating in the aerospace sector, active in the development of equipment and systems for aircraft and helicopters. In a context of strengthening the technical and design structure, we have been tasked with searching for a:

Software Project Manager

The resource will be placed within the R&D area and will report directly to the Program Manager. They will have a central role in the planning, coordination, and control of the execution of aerospace development programs related to mechanical, electronic, hydraulic, electro-hydraulic, and electromechanical equipment. They will be the main interface point between the client and the multidisciplinary engineering teams involved in the entire product life cycle, with a direct impact on compliance with timelines, budgets, technical requirements, quality, and certification.

Main responsibilities will include:

• planning, monitoring, and controlling project activities
• defining system architectures
• coordinating multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams
• overseeing project timelines, costs, quality, risks, and profitability
• managing corrective actions and progress criticalities
• verifying, through internal reviews, the activities performed and design outputs
• preparing the conditions for entry into formal design reviews with the client
• managing relationships with clients, including international ones, and the related documentation
• preparing technical and management reporting
• supervising aspects related to product development, configuration, and non-conformity

The ideal candidate possesses:

• a Master's degree in Electronic, Computer, Aerospace, Industrial Engineering, or an equivalent qualification
• at least 3-5 years of experience in managing multidisciplinary engineering projects
• preferably coming from development and certification programs in the aerospace field
• knowledge of Project Management methodologies
• experience in managing the development life cycle of aerospace products
• knowledge of aerospace sector regulations and standards
• familiarity with Quality Assurance, configuration management, and non-conformity
• good ability to draft technical and management reports
• proficiency in Microsoft Project and the Microsoft Office suite, with a focus on Excel and PowerPoint
• good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken
• availability for national and international travel

The workplace is in Torgiano (PG), with availability for short trips within the national territory and abroad. The position involves a full-time placement in a highly specialized technical context, with cross-functional responsibilities and strong exposure to the client.

RAL range to be assigned to the position: € 50,000 - 60,000 CCNL Metalmeccanico
