Human Resources Manager

For a rapidly growing travel company based in Rome, active in the tourism segment of individual travelers (FIT - Free Independent Traveler) and small groups, we are looking for a senior figure to accompany a significant managerial transition towards a more structured company. The agency offers private tours, tailor-made experiences, and excursions throughout the Italian territory with a particular focus on the main cities of art.

We are looking for a: General Manager / Chief Operating Officer

Main responsibilities:

First phase:

1. definition and implementation of processes and reporting with the aim of implementing structured economic-financial control, full visibility on margins, costs, revenues, and profitability;
2. definition and monitoring of operational and financial KPI;
3. profitability analysis by product / channel / partner / business line;
4. ROI control for products, commercial channels, and operational activities;
5. review of accounting, cost structure, expenses, and financial flows;
6. introduction of solid internal control processes and due diligence logic;
7. rationalization (and eventual internalization) of HR, payroll, reporting, and administration processes;
8. definition of roles, responsibilities, organizational chart, and decision-making processes;
9. creation of management reporting useful to ownership and management.

Second Phase:

1. definition of a sustainable growth strategy;
2. construction of departments, budgets, objectives, and responsibilities;
3. development of new business lines;

Ideal profile:

• Proven experience in general management / operations management / business management within the Hospitality, Tour Operators, Travel Agencies, Travel Platforms sector;
• strong economic-financial competence (P&L, KPI, profitability, management control);
• track record in bringing structure to rapidly grown companies;
• authority in managing teams that are not yet fully organized;
• pragmatic and execution-oriented approach;
• ability to communicate with ownership/shareholders;

Work location:

Rome (presence mode to be defined).

We offer:

Hiring with a permanent contract. Candidates currently operating as Consultants/Freelance Professionals may also be considered CCNL Turismo Classification level: Quadro/Dirigente Expected remuneration is between € 60,000 and € 80,000 gross per year, defined based on the contractual classification, the duties involved, and the characteristics of the position. Any benefits will be defined during the hiring phase.
