Our client is one of the leading Italian System Integrators specializing in Networking, Data Center, Security, and Cloud solutions, with a strong infrastructural design component and a long history in the telecommunications world. They have commissioned us to search for a Senior Pre Sales Engineer - Networking who will be placed within the Technology Unit NDCS of the Business Unit PPS (Public & Private Sector) and will operate in the Pre-sales area, contributing to the definition of innovative solutions in the fields of Networking, Data Center, Security, and Cloud for Enterprise and Public Administration clients. The objective of the role is to support the commercial structures in the qualification of opportunities, the design of solutions, and the preparation of technical-economic offers, collaborating with vendors, partners, and delivery teams.

Main responsibilities

• Support technical pre-sales activities within the scope of tenders, offers, and commercial opportunities in multivendor technology.
• Analyze technical and business requirements of customers.
• Define architectures and infrastructural solutions in the Networking and Data Center fields.
• Prepare technical documentation, High Level Design, tender attachments, and offer documents.
• Collaborate in the definition of the economic solution and the estimation of project efforts.
• Interface with vendors and distributors.
• Support PoC, workshops, demos, and technical presentations.
• Collaborate with Delivery and Operation.
• Contribute to the evolution of the company's offering.
• Support the technical coordination of complex offers.

Required technical skills

• Enterprise and Service Provider IP architectures.
• Routing and switching (OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, MPLS, Segment Routing).
• LAN, WAN, and Data Center technologies.
• Experience with Cisco, HPE, and other vendor solutions.
• SD-WAN and SDN.
• Enterprise Wireless.
• Cloud and Network Security.
• ITIL processes and Service Management.

Requirements

• At least 8-10 years of experience in specific activities in the role described in the profile.
• Experience in defining complex solutions.
• Good knowledge of the English language.
• Availability for travel.

Work Location: Milan CCNL Metalmeccanico, Level B3 or Quadro A1 RALT (fixed + variable): €65,000 SW up to 50%, €8 meal voucher.
