Software Engineer Java (m/f/d)

Then a position awaits you in which you will actively help shape technological standards. Together with development teams, architects, and product areas, you will work on the further development of modern software engineering practices, from Java and Cloud-native Development to modern architectural approaches and AI-supported and agent-based software development.

Tasks

You will deal with modern software engineering technologies, tools, and practices – particularly in the field of AI-supported development, automation, and Developer Productivity.

You will support development teams with technical questions regarding Java, software architecture, APIs, quality, observability, and Cloud-native development.

You will participate in the further development of modern architectural approaches such as Microservices, event-driven architecture, DDD, and API-First-Design.

You will help to continuously improve the Developer Experience (DevEx) through optimized processes, modern tools, and efficient ways of working.

You will actively participate in workshops, technical exchange rounds, and developer communities and enjoy sharing your knowledge with others.

Together with architects, product teams, and developers, you will develop reusable solutions and continuously drive technical further development.

You will participate in strategic technical initiatives and help shape the further development of AI-supported and agent-based software development.

Qualification

Completed studies in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable IT qualification.

Initial professional experience in software development with Java and Spring.

Knowledge of APIs, databases, and modern software architectures such as Microservices.

Initial experience with Cloud, Containers, CI/CD, or Kubernetes is an advantage. Interest in AI, LLMs, automation, and modern development methods.

Enjoyment in helping to shape technical solutions, sharing knowledge, and continuously developing yourself. Good communication and teamwork skills as well as good English skills.
