Sales Development Representative
(SDR) | Remote UK | £40,000 base, £80,000 OTE | Cloud Sales | SaaS
About the company
Our client is an established enterprise software company, founded in 1997 and headquartered in London. Their platform helps organisations in highly regulated industries, particularly life sciences and pharmaceuticals, manage their critical content, documents and information. They work with large, complex organisations where compliance really matters, and their reputation has been built on quality and long-term customer relationships.
They are a family-run business with a close, supportive culture. People tend to join and stay, and almost everyone offered a role accepts it. They are now growing their sales team and looking for two Sales Development Representatives to help fuel that growth.
The role
You'll be the first conversation many enterprise prospects have with the business. Working closely with the Business Development Managers and Account Executives, you'll research target accounts, identify the right people in complex buying groups, and book qualified meetings that turn into real opportunities.
Day to day, you will:
- Run research-led outbound across phone, email and LinkedIn into large enterprise accounts
- Map accounts and engage multiple stakeholders, from technical teams to senior leaders
- Follow up inbound and event leads quickly and run structured first call discovery
- Hand over meetings with clear context: why now, who's involved and what matters to them
- Keep your CRM clean and up to date so the team always has an accurate picture
What they're looking for
- 2 - 6 years' experience as an SDR or BDR in B2B SaaS or enterprise technology
- Experience prospecting into large, complex organisations
- A consistent career history, with time spent building results in your previous roles
- A thoughtful approach to outbound, where research comes before the first touch
- Strong written and verbal communication, and the confidence to speak with senior stakeholders
- Good CRM discipline (Salesforce or similar)
Experience selling into life sciences, pharma, healthcare, financial services or other regulated industries is a real advantage. So is any background with content or document management software. Neither is essential.
What's on offer
- £40,000 base salary
- £80,000 OTE, with commission paid on meetings booked and again when those meetings close
- Fully remote, anywhere in the UK
- A stable, established business with a genuinely supportive culture
- The chance to work alongside an experienced sales team on complex enterprise deals
