Key Responsibilities
- Provide full-time site supervision for transmission equipment installation works.
- Supervise GIS, transformer, relay installation, testing and commissioning activities.
- Monitor heavy lifting, work-at-height, gas/oil circulation and equipment mobilisation activities.
- Ensure contractors comply with the Workplace Safety and Health Act , project safety requirements and applicable regulations.
- Review Method Statements, Safe Work Procedures and Risk Assessments before commencement of works.
- Conduct Toolbox Meetings and monitor daily site activities.
- Verify workers' safety passes, WAH passes, lifting certificates and other required documentation.
- Identify and report safety lapses, incidents, near misses and non-compliance.
- Prepare site records, checklists and weekly site management/safety reports.
- Attend project and progress meetings as required.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering or other relevant engineering discipline .
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in projects of a similar nature.
- Valid Supervisor Construction Work in Workplace Safety and Health certification.
- Good knowledge of electrical/substation installation and site safety requirements.
- Able to work independently and provide full-time site supervision.
- Able to travel to multiple location island-wide, including Jurong Island .
- Must be able to support day/night works, Sundays and Public Holidays when required.
