Your tasks

We are seeking a Digital & Motion Designer on the Performance Creative team, who will report to the Director of Creative Operations & Production. You will support the concepting, design, animation, and production of high-performing paid digital creative and client-facing presentations. This role focuses on translating creative strategy into compelling visual assets, developing motion and static creative across multiple platforms, and delivering polished work that drives performance while maintaining brand consistency. The ideal candidate enjoys the craft and pace of performance creative, taking pride in transforming creative concepts into engaging static and motion assets, designing across channels and formats, and balancing creative storytelling with production excellence. You are detail-oriented, collaborative, and energized by creating impactful work in a fast-paced environment, thriving at the intersection of design, motion, and performance marketing. We're looking for someone who wants to become a trusted creative partner, contributing both conceptual thinking and hands-on execution to elevate our digital campaigns, rather than someone primarily focused on traditional brand, print, or long-form creative work.

  • Owning the strategy, direction, and delivery of performance-driven creative across a book of business ranging from 2-5 clients, ensuring alignment with client KPIs and channel objectives
  • Translating performance data into clear creative direction, including testing roadmaps, hypotheses, and iteration plans
  • Developing recurring static and video briefs grounded in platform best practices and performance insights. Inclusive of performance-driven messaging, hooks, headlines, and ad copy tailored to platform behavior, audience insights, and campaign objectives
  • Partnering closely with Media teams to align on testing strategy, scaling opportunities, and performance optimization
  • Collaborating with Design and Production to bring concepts to life, managing timelines, budgets, and deliverables
  • Analyzing creative performance across platforms and synthesize learnings into actionable insights and next steps
  • Applying a strong understanding of platform dynamics (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Amazon, Programmatic) to inform creative strategy
  • Supporting client communication by presenting creative concepts, performance insights, and strategic recommendations
  • Contributing to the development of creative testing frameworks, best practices, and ways of working across accounts
  • Identifying opportunities to improve creative efficiency through tools, automation, and emerging technologies
  • Traveling occasionally to visit clients, team meetings, and/or events. Likely 1-3 times/year

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in performance creative, paid social, or a related field, preferably within an agency environment
  • 2+ years of experience owning client relationships and delivering creative tied to performance outcomes
  • A strong understanding of how creative and media work together, with experience partnering with media teams on testing, scaling, and optimization strategies
  • Experience translating performance data into actionable creative direction, taxonomy, testing hypotheses, and iteration plans
  • Working knowledge of paid media platforms, especially Meta Ads Manager, with familiarity across TikTok, YouTube, Amazon, and emerging channels
  • Strong creative and performance marketing instincts, with the ability to develop and iterate on messaging, hooks, headlines, and ad copy that resonate across audiences, platforms, and funnel stages to drive engagement and conversion
  • Ability to identify which creative concepts to scale, iterate on, or pivot from based on performance insights
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with experience managing multiple timelines, deliverables, and workstreams simultaneously
  • Strong client-facing communication skills, including presenting creative work, performance insights, and strategic recommendations
  • Strong awareness of emerging trends, platform evolution, and culturally relevant moments, with a proactive approach to staying current on shifts shaping consumer behavior and creative best practices
