About the role

We are looking for a skilled welder for our team in Göteborg. In this role, you will work out in customer projects and be responsible for your own welding work from start to finished delivery, according to given instructions and standards with high requirements for quality, safety, and accuracy. You will play an important role in ensuring that the work is performed according to WPS and that the company's quality and environmental requirements are met – thereby contributing directly to the success of the projects and customers.

What you will be working with

• Perform daily welding work according to the management's planning
• Ensure that welding is performed according to the applicable WPS
• Document and report welding work according to daily welding lists
• Ensure that your own welding tests are valid and updated
• Work according to the company's quality and environmental requirements
• Perform the work in a safe manner, including the use of protection and extraction
• Handle filler materials in a correct manner
• Handle and return leftover material
• Follow routines before, during, and after welding
• Participate in assembly work if necessary
• Ensure order and tidiness at the workplace
• Check and maintain equipment, tools, and protective equipment
• Report deviations according to applicable routines
• Contribute to improvements in working methods and the work environment

Who are you?

You are meticulous and quality-conscious, with a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to work independently. You have a high level of safety awareness in your daily work and enjoy collaborating with others. It is a strong merit if you have experience in industrial projects, contracting work, and pipe welding in different materials.

Qualifications

• Approved welding test according to SS-EN ISO 9606-1
• Specific welding methods required, e.g., 111 (MMA), 141 (TIG), 135/136 (MAG)
• Ability to read and work according to WPS
• Certificate for Heta Arbeten
• Certificate for Säkra lyft
• Good knowledge of reading drawings
• B-körkort
• Fluent English (requirement)

Meritous

• Good knowledge of Swedish
• Knowledge of SS-EN 1090-1, SS-EN 3834 and SS-EN 5817
• Certification for visual inspection of welds
