Ideal Candidate We are looking for engineers who are passionate about realizing the innovative data platform at the heart of Woven City.
This platform will be used by innovators to accelerate their innovation. We develop microservices (such as integrated APIs) for AI, mobility, energy management, healthcare, lifestyle, smart home, EC, and other Woven City services.
In this position, you will drive the entire process from cross-functional specifications and requirement definitions to development and implementation.
In this position, you will report to the same team leader, and the working style is a hybrid position (a combination of remote and office).
Responsibilities Design and implement scalable data architecture, data processing, and data analysis across multiple data domains.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Build components that ensure the health of data flows, data storage, and related services.
Contribute to documentation and improving code maintainability.
Collaborate with each team to develop and provide best practices.
Requirements Possession of a disability certificate issued by the Japanese government.
Professional experience in any of the following languages: C++, C#, Java, Go, Rust, Python, etc.
Experience with SaaS, IaaS, PaaS (AWS, GCP) and synchronous/asynchronous API design (REST, gRPC, Kafka).
Experience in designing data architecture across multiple data domains using integrated analysis platforms such as Databricks.
Background in large-scale batch processing or stream processing.
Business-level English proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications Deep professional experience in any of RDBMS, DocumentDB, or KVS.
Experience using big data platforms, machine learning platforms, and stacks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
Understanding of standards related to data and data governance.
Understanding of security practices regarding data management.
Familiarity with DevOps and DataOps best practices in cloud environments (e.g., AWS).
