Service Technician (m/f/d) Automation Technology

Location: Dresden Employment type(s): Full-time Working hours: 40 - 40 hours per week

Purpose and Goal of the Position For our renowned customer in the field of automation, we are looking for an experienced Service Technician for Automation Technology (m/f/d) in Dresden, effective immediately.

Tasks, Competencies and Responsibility

• Carrying out maintenance and repair work on machines as well as machine expansions for customers worldwide
• Providing technical support including remote diagnosis, error analysis, and troubleshooting of machine malfunctions
• Documentation of telephone support provided and service processes
• Leading and coordinating service assignments at the customer site, including determining the assembly and service procedures
• Supporting the technical preparation of service offers

Professional Requirements

• Completed vocational training with further qualification as a Techniker (m/f/d) in the field of Mechatronics or Automation Technology
• Experience in technical service support for national and international customers in special machine construction
• Ideally knowledge in handling PLC, machine, and controller controls (e.g., Robotics, camera systems, electrical axes)

Personal Requirements and Social Competencies

• Strong systematic analysis and problem-solving skills
• High communication and negotiation skills
• Knowledge of the English language in spoken and written form
• Class B driver's license
