Occupational Safety Specialist (m/f/d)
Location: Moritzburg Working time: 38 - 40 hours per week

Your profile:
- You must have a degree as an Occupational Safety Specialist (Sifa) or Safety Engineer
- Ideally, you are a Safety and Health Coordinator (SiGeKo)
- Several years of construction site experience would be an advantage
- You have a confident handling of Microsoft programs
- You already have experience in creating and maintaining risk assessments and operating instructions
- You possess English skills at level B2 in speaking and writing
- Ideally, you also have knowledge of West and/or South Slavic languages (e.g., Czech, Slovak, Romanian, Polish, Croatian, Slovenian) – but not a must
- You have strong communication skills, social competence, sense of responsibility, and initiative
- You possess analytical thinking skills and technical understanding to assess risks and evaluate technical processes, as well as solution-oriented thinking and flexibility
- You have teamwork skills and assertiveness – even in an intercultural environment
- You bring a passion for a safe, sustainable, and environmentally conscious corporate culture
- You have a structured and careful way of working
- You have a car driver's license and willingness to travel would be desirable
- You have the willingness for flexible working hour arrangements (possibly changing daily or weekly working hours)
Tasks, competencies and responsibility Your tasks vary according to your experience and interests. Typical tasks can be:
- Advising the project and construction management on occupational safety and accident prevention
- Creation, updating, and evaluation of risk assessments
- Ensuring compliance with legal and professional association regulations
- Analysis of workplaces and work equipment, identification of deficiencies, and development of suitable protective measures
- Regular construction site inspections and verification of the effectiveness of protective measures
- Conducting safety instructions, training, and meetings
- Support in the selection, procurement, and testing of technical work equipment and personal protective equipment
- Investigation of occupational accidents and creation of corresponding reports as well as derivation of prevention measures
- Creation and maintenance of statistics and occupational safety documentation
- Adaptation of safety and health documents in case of changes in the construction process
- Monitoring compliance with EHS requirements and duties according to the Construction Site Ordinance
- Verifying the proper application of working procedures by subcontractors
- Support in the further development of management systems (e.g., ISO 45001)
