Job Objective:

Execute purchasing and procurement processes ensuring the timely availability of required products and materials.

Functions

• Receive, review, and consolidate purchase requirements from the different areas of the company.
• Request quotations from national and international suppliers according to the required specifications.
• Prepare comparative quotation charts considering price, quality, delivery time, and commercial conditions.
• Generate and follow up on approved purchase orders.
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding compliance with established delivery dates.
• Perform continuous follow-up on pending purchases until their compliant receipt.
• Keep the database of suppliers, prices, and commercial conditions updated.
• Search for and evaluate new suppliers that contribute to improving costs, quality, and delivery times.
• Maintain permanent communication with suppliers to ensure timely supply.
• Manage claims, returns, warranties, and product exchanges with suppliers.
• Verify that suppliers comply with the documentary requirements established by the company.
• Support negotiations to obtain better prices, discounts, and credit conditions.
• Coordinate with the commercial area regarding the supply needs of the stores.
• Coordinate with the warehouse regarding the receipt and conformity of acquired products.
• Support the control and timely supply of the area's logistical processes.
• Coordinate with administration and accounting the scheduling of payments to suppliers.
• Report promptly on delays, incidents, or problems related to purchases.

Requirements

• Minimum education: Técnico 1 year of experience
• Languages: Inglés
• Age: between 25 and 35 years
• Knowledge: Microsoft excel
