Southern Area Sales Manager

Your tasks

• Manage and grow the Southern sales territory to achieve agreed targets.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities across the region.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing customers and distributors.
• Generate sales through direct customer engagement and distribution partners.
• Demonstrate industrial tooling and machinery to prospective customers.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales across the product range.
• Represent the business at exhibitions, trade shows and industry events.

Requirements

Are you an experienced Sales Manager with at least four years’ territory-based field sales experience in industrial tooling, power tools or machinery? This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a Southern UK sales territory for a specialist industrial equipment business. You’ll have the autonomy to develop new business, grow existing accounts and build strong relationships with customers and distributors. You’ll also demonstrate a range of specialist machinery and represent the business at exhibitions and industry events.

Skills & Experience Required

• At least four years’ territory-based field sales experience.
• Full UK driving licence
• Background in industrial tooling, power tools or industrial machinery sales.
• Proven ability to develop new business and grow existing accounts.
• Experience managing a sales territory and working towards targets.
• Confident presenting and demonstrating technical products.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a home-based role.
• Willingness to travel throughout the Southern UK territory and attend industry events.
