Category Lead Capex

What is expected of you?

• Developing and implementing procurement strategies within Capex, aligned with business objectives.
• Conducting market analysis and building a strong supplier network at a European level.
• Managing contracts and budgets with a focus on cost optimization and security of supply.
• Negotiating with strategic suppliers regarding TCO, SLAs, and KPIs.
• Managing and optimizing categories with attention to risk, efficiency, and performance.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders and integrating procurement within various departments.
• Contributing to procurement policy and improving processes and working methods.
• Supporting and developing category plans according to the CSD process.
• Managing and evaluating supplier performance and reporting on this.

This is the perfect job for you...

• Experience within procurement, ideally in category management (5–10 years, but high potentials are also welcome).
• Strong knowledge of strategic procurement and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
• Ambition to grow further within procurement.
• Smooth communication and strong in stakeholder management and negotiations.
• Analytical, result-oriented, and able to set sharp priorities.
• Experience with MS Office, knowledge of SAP is a plus.
• Very good knowledge of English, additional languages are an asset.
• Flexible, able to work both independently and in a team.
• Willingness to travel sporadically within Europe.
• Location primarily Balen.
