We are looking for a skilled MAG/TIG welder for LP-Group Kangasniemi Oy!
LP-Group Kangasniemi Oy manufactures versatile steel structures and components for the needs of various industries. We are now looking for a skilled MAG/TIG welder to strengthen the production team. Depending on skills and experience, the role may emphasize either MAG or TIG welding.
Job Description
Your tasks at LP-Group Kangasniemi Oy will focus on welding individual pieces made from structural steel according to technical drawings. The structures to be welded consist of, among other things, pipes and plates, and material thicknesses vary between approximately 1–40 mm. You will work with diverse steel structures and are responsible, on your part, for ensuring that the manufactured pieces meet the set quality requirements.
Work is mainly performed in the day shift. It is considered an advantage if you also have the possibility for 2-shift work if necessary. Work begins as soon as possible according to the contract.
Requirements for the position
We expect from you previous experience in MAG or TIG welding, good technical drawing reading skills, and knowledge of welding symbols. The position requires experience in manufacturing individual pieces according to drawings, as well as an independent and careful work attitude. Experience in thermal straightening is considered an advantage.
The position requires fluent English language skills. Proficiency in Finnish and valid welding classes are considered advantages.

Pay and employment terms are based on the Teknologiateollisuus collective agreement. The salary range for the position is approximately 13–16 €/h depending on skills and expertise.
