Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountant role based in Ikeja. The Chartered Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including preparing and reviewing financial statements, maintaining general ledgers, and ensuring accurate bookkeeping.

The role involves overseeing statutory and management reporting, handling tax computations and filings, and ensuring full compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations. The Chartered Accountant will support budgeting and forecasting processes, perform financial analysis to guide decision making, and contribute to internal controls and process improvements.

The individual will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies, and provide timely financial insights to management.

Qualifications & Key Responsibilities:

  1. B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  1. Must be a Chartered Accountant (ICAN/ACCA) with a valid professional qualification.
  1. Mininum of 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in trading, import/export, or manufacturing.

Proficiency in financial accounting and reporting, including preparation of balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and management reports.

  1. Experience with import/export transactions.
  1. Knowledge of inventory accounting, costing, and manufacturing accounts.
  1. Ability to prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports.
  1. Good knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and regulatory requirements.
  1. Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, or ERP systems.
  1. Strong Excel and data-analysis skills.
  1. Good understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash flow, bank reconciliation, and general ledger.
  1. Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  1. High level of integrity, accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
