We are looking for you! At Workmate, we are looking for a Project Engineer for an important client located in Mejillones, with the objective of planning, managing, and controlling new projects for the company.
Your tasks
- Support the definition, planning, and monitoring of projects, gathering requirements and controlling progress, milestones, and deviations.
- Prepare and review engineering documentation and deliverables, ensuring their consistency, updates, and traceability.
- Perform technical-economic analyses of alternatives, considering preliminary estimates of quantities, costs, and quotes.
- Support the coordination and execution of projects in the field, relating to internal areas, suppliers, and contractors.
- Participate in procurement processes, risk control, and monitoring of deliverables, ensuring compliance with specifications, deadlines, safety, and applicable regulations.
Requirements
- Graduate in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Have 0 to 2 years of experience in projects, engineering, or related areas.
- Desirable experience or participation in design, control, field, or PMO stages.
- Knowledge in project management, reading blueprints and specifications, document control, costs, and contracts.
- Intermediate level Excel and MS Project or another planning tool.
- Intermediate oral English; advanced level desirable.
- RESIDE IN ANTOFAGASTA OR MEJILLONES (EXCLUSIONARY)
- Minimum education: University / I.P. / C.F.T.
- 1 year of experience

Conditions
- Working day: Monday to Wednesday from 08:00 to 17:20, Thursday from 08:00 to 16:20, and Friday from 08:00 to 14:30.
