Your tasks
- Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and facility mechanical equipment.
- Conduct root-cause analysis, mechanical troubleshooting, and repairs to minimize production downtime.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical schematics, and engineering drawings to assemble or modify equipment.
- Work safely at heights up to 40 feet using ladders, elevated work platforms, and scissor lifts.
- Follow all workplace safety standards, provincial regulations, and company guidelines.
Requirements
- Valid Ontario 313A Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic licence required.
- 2 to 5 years of industrial mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitudes and technical skills in HVAC system diagnostics and repair.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, maintain reliable attendance, and work weekend shifts as needed.
Assets
- Ontario 433A Industrial Mechanic Millwright licence.
- Ontario 442A Industrial Electrician licence.
- Gas Technician G1 or G2 certification.
