We are looking for a skilled welder/assembler for Fishheart OY. Fishheart is a Finnish environmental technology company that develops solutions for returning migratory fish to rivers. The company's technology combines mechanics, automation, and software, so in this role, you will get to see and learn about broad systems. This is not just a job, but an opportunity to grow with the company and build solutions that improve biodiversity and the state of water bodies.
In this position, you will work in diverse production and installation tasks. Your daily work includes the fabrication of metal structures, welding, assembly, and mechanical installation. Additionally, you will participate in commissioning and maintenance work and get to join field work at various installation sites, often near water bodies. The job offers the opportunity to learn through practice and to quickly develop into a multi-skilled professional.
You are a fit for this job if you possess:
- Basic welding skills (Tig and/or MIG/MAG) through education
- An enthusiastic and eager-to-learn attitude
- Curiosity and interest in technology
- Proactivity and a desire to take on various tasks
- Ability to solve problems and think independently
- Readiness to work in varying work environments as well as readiness to travel
- Interest in the development of the environment and nature
- Ability to communicate within the work community also in English
It is great (but not essential) if you also have:
- Experience from internships, summer jobs, or projects in technical roles
- Basic level of skill in assembly or installations
- Interest in electrical or automation field tasks
- Proficiency in the Swedish language
In this job, the collective agreement for the design and consulting sector is followed, and your salary is determined by your skills, experience, and the complexity of the task, ranging between 2600 € - 3200 €. Work begins in the autumn, according to the contract.
The recruitment process is managed by Worker, and you will initially have a relaxed interview to chat with a Worker expert—the purpose is to get to know you and your skills. In the final stage of the process, you will also meet the contact person of the client company. You will be employed directly by Fishheart Oy, so the employment contract is signed directly with them.
