For our product line "Satcom Digital", we are looking for a working student (m/f/d), for a maximum of 20 hours per week during the lecture period, to support the team in the development of automation test scripts for system tests on satellite modems (RF/Optical).
What to expect in this role
- you will develop an understanding of the existing automation framework and for the expansion of automation tests based on defined requirements
- you will document the implemented test scripts in the form of a test verification or validation report
- you will contribute to the further development and optimization of existing system tests
- you will develop an understanding of the functionality of satellite modems (RF/Optics) and participate in defining further requirements for system tests together with the system engineers
What you bring to be successful in this role
- Studies in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a comparable field
- Basic programming knowledge in Python, C, and C++
- Good understanding of the Linux operating system and IP networks
- Interest in ground systems for satellite communication
- Basic hardware knowledge is an advantage
- Structured, independent way of working and team spirit
- Language skills: Good English skills are required; basic knowledge of German is an advantage
