To further strengthen our team, we are looking for an employee as a Senior Digital Hardware Design Engineer (m/w/d)

What to expect:

• Development of electrical devices and systems
• Focus: Digital hardware as well as system integration and networking of components
• Building a deep technical understanding in the field of mixed-signal technology and optical electronics
• Layout of complex printed circuit boards
• Simulation of digital circuits
• Architecture and specification of complex systems encompassing hardware and software components
• Documentation of development results
• Construction and testing of prototypes

What you bring:

• Completed studies in electrical engineering or communications engineering
• Experience in device design and system architecture
• Sound knowledge of network technologies, protocols, and architectures
• Knowledge of high-speed interfaces (JESD204C, 100G Ethernet, SPI, ...)
• Knowledge of electromagnetic interference and compatibility
• Sound experience in the development of digital circuits, RF technology, and optical communication
• Knowledge of simulation programs (e.g., Xpedition Hyperlynx)
• Experience in the layout of complex printed circuit boards is an advantage
• Good English skills
• Initial professional experience in the mentioned areas is desirable, but not mandatory, provided there is corresponding experience, e.g., from internships, theses, or other projects
• Sound and multi-year professional experience in the mentioned areas is essential for this position
