Responsibilities:

Develop and execute business development strategy in alignment with corporate and commercial objectives. Identify new markets, customer segments, business models, partnerships and revenue opportunities capable of creating material growth.\ Build a strong pipeline of commercially viable new business opportunities. Lead opportunities from origination through qualification, commercial evaluation, negotiation and closure. Identify and develop strategic partnerships that extend capabilities, market access and revenue potential. Build relationships with telecommunications operators, technology companies, infrastructure providers, enterprises, government institutions, financial institutions and other strategic partners. Identify opportunities to commercially leverage network, infrastructure, licences, capacity, technology capabilities and other relevant assets. Work with Network, Technology, Finance and other functions to assess the technical and commercial viability of asset-monetisation opportunities. Identify opportunities for expansion into new markets, customer segments and adjacent commercial areas. Monitor developments across telecommunications, technology, digital services and related industries to identify emerging opportunities. Establish clear financial and commercial measures for the business development portfolio. Maintain executive visibility of strategic pipeline value, probability, expected returns and conversion. Monitor the performance of newly developed revenue streams against approved business cases.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Telecommunications, Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline. MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage. Minimum of 10–15 years' progressive experience across business development, commercial, strategy, partnerships or sales roles. At least 5–7 years in senior management/leadership roles with responsibility for significant commercial opportunities. Demonstrable experience originating, developing and closing high-value B2B, enterprise, wholesale or strategic commercial opportunities. Proven experience developing strategic partnerships, alliances or new business models. Strong experience developing business cases and assessing commercial viability and investment returns. Strong negotiation and complex deal-structuring experience. Strong understanding of the Nigerian telecommunications, ICT, technology and digital-services landscape. Experience engaging executive-level stakeholders and presenting investment or commercial recommendations to senior leadership. Experience within telecommunications or another infrastructure-intensive/technology sector is strongly preferred.

Remuneration: NGN 3,000,000 - 4,000,000 monthly
