Technical Manager

For an innovative industrial production environment in the Doornik region, we are looking for an experienced Freelance Technics & Project Manager. You will take ultimate technical responsibility for two production sites, combining maintenance management, technical projects, and people management.

You will receive a key position with a lot of autonomy and direct impact on the reliability, efficiency, and further development of the machine park.

What You Will Do

• You take ultimate responsibility for the technical management and reliability of the machine park at two production sites.
• You draw up the OPEX and CAPEX budgets and monitor them closely.
• You structure and optimize preventive and corrective maintenance via GMAO.
• You analyze technical failures and implement structural improvements to increase uptime.
• You lead diverse technical and technological investment projects from concept to successful implementation.
• You manage the entire technical team across both sites and ensure clear priorities and efficient collaboration.
• You coordinate external partners and subcontractors and monitor quality, timing, and budget.
• You oversee machine safety, risk management, and technical regulations.
• You work closely with Production, QHSE, R&D, and Supply Chain regarding innovation and continuous improvement.

Who You Are

• You possess a technical master's degree or are equivalent through relevant experience.
• You have at least 5 years of experience in technical management, maintenance, and/or engineering in an industrial production environment.
• You have demonstrable experience with CAPEX projects, budget management, and subcontractor management.
• You are familiar with maintenance systems, machine safety, and industrial installations.
• You are a strong people manager and communicate fluently in French and English.
