Introduction

For an internationally active family business within chemical production, we are looking for a Teamlead Quality.

In this position, you combine quality, lab, and people management. You lead the QC team, monitor quality systems, and take ownership of complaints, analyses, audits, and improvement processes. You work closely with R&D and Operations and report directly to the Operations Director.

You will join a strongly growing organization in the Waregem region, with plenty of room for initiative and improvement.

What Will You Do?

• You lead the Quality team and ensure good task distribution, staffing, follow-up, and support for your employees.
• You monitor and optimize the quality systems, follow up on quality analyses, and translate deviations into concrete action plans.
• You handle internal and external quality complaints, perform root cause analyses, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
• You coordinate internal and external audits and manage certificates, DOP's, and other quality documentation.
• You are responsible for formula management within the ERP system and follow up on changes based on, among other things, raw material availability.
• You work together with R&D and Operations on continuous improvement and help further build a strong quality culture.

Who Are You?

• You possess a bachelor's or master's degree in a scientific field, such as Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Environment.
• You have several years of experience within Quality Control and quality systems, preferably in an industrial or chemical production environment.
• You have knowledge of lab analyses, ISO standards, audits, CAPA's, and complaint handling.
• You are a committed team leader who can coach, motivate, and involve employees in improvements.
• You are analytical, hands-on, and have strong communication skills and possess a good basic knowledge of English and French.
