Job Description: WOLF & WOLF Patentanwaltsgesellschaft mbH is a prestigious and well-organized law firm based in Hanau. We specialize in intellectual property and offer comprehensive services, from registration and maintenance to the enforcement and defense of intellectual property rights such as patents, trademarks, and designs. Our clients are predominantly small and medium-sized enterprises with an international orientation.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a dedicated lawyer (m/f/d) with an interest in trademark law, starting immediately. The trademark law department is fully developed in our firm but continues to grow steadily. Therefore, we are looking for a colleague who wants to further expand this area together with us.

This position is particularly aimed at career starters who are looking for an alternative to large law firms and wish to establish themselves in trademark law in the long term.

Your Tasks:

• Management of national and international trademark applications as well as support in opposition, cancellation, and appeal proceedings before the DPMA, the EUIPO, and the WIPO.
• Support in providing strategic advice to our clients in trademark and signage law.
• Participation in the enforcement and defense of trademark rights, including warning letters and out-of-court correspondence.
• Conducting searches and monitoring in cooperation with professional search services.
• Step-by-step introduction to the daily trademark law business of our patent law firm with close professional guidance.
• Integration into the entire firm operations: You will not only be involved in classic legal activities but also in organizational and strategic issues. A hands-on mentality is expressly desired – even simpler tasks are, of course, part of the job.

Your Profile:

• Successfully completed legal studies (1st and 2nd State Examination).
• Interest in trademark law, IP law, or industrial property law; corresponding prior knowledge is welcome but not mandatory.
• You are not the type for a large law firm, but rather value a personal working atmosphere, short distances, and regular working hours.
• High level of care, precision, and sense of responsibility when processing legal tasks.
• Analytical thinking skills and the willingness to engage in intensive professional training.
• Very good English skills; further language skills are an advantage.
• Team orientation and openness: You actively contribute to the firm and take on responsibility.
