Job Responsibilities
- Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements.
- Prepare tender submissions, cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), and quotations.
- Source and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Conduct cost comparisons and negotiate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Prepare tender costing, budgets, and commercial proposals.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to clarify tender requirements.
- Identify potential commercial risks and cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure tender submissions are accurate and submitted within deadlines.
Requirements
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Relevant experience in tendering within the construction industry.
- Knowledge of construction costs, tender preparation, and contract documentation.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant QS software.
