🔥 Kitchen Assistant | Far East Square | Full/Night Shift | Up to S$3,000

Our client, an established F&B and entertainment brand integrating Sichuan cuisine, dining and live music , is seeking Kitchen Assistants to support its kitchen operations at Far East Square.

The successful candidate will support daily kitchen operations including ingredient preparation, mise en place, food handling, cleaning and general kitchen duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist chefs with washing, cutting, portioning and preparing ingredients.
• Prepare vegetables, meat, seafood and other ingredients according to kitchen requirements.
• Carry out mise en place before service.
• Replenish ingredients and supplies during service.
• Assist chefs with basic cooking and plating when required.
• Receive and store ingredients according to food-safety procedures.
• Maintain proper stock rotation and ingredient freshness.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Support opening and closing kitchen duties.
• Follow food-safety, hygiene and kitchen operating procedures.
• Assist other kitchen sections during busy periods when required.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen Supervisor.

Requirements

• Relevant kitchen or F&B experience preferred.
• Experience in a Chinese restaurant kitchen is an advantage.
• Basic food-preparation and knife skills preferred.
• Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Good personal hygiene and food-safety awareness.
• Reliable, hardworking and willing to learn.
• Able to work effectively as part of a kitchen team.
• Able to work weekends and public holidays according to roster.

Working Hours

• 6-day work week
• Full Shift: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM 2-hour break
• Night Shift: 5:00 PM – 3:00 AM 1-hour break
