Electrical Engineer
Engineering & Technical Design Review, refine, and modify electrical schematics, single-line diagrams (SLD), layout plans, and circuit designs using engineering design tools (AutoCAD / Revit).
Conduct core engineering calculations, including power distribution, cable sizing, breaker selection, voltage drop, and electrical load analyses.
Ensure all technical drawings and specifications adhere strictly to relevant local codes of practice, building codes, and statutory standards.
Site Execution & Project Supervision Supervise site installation, integration, and modification of electrical infrastructure, including switchboards, transformers, and control panels.
Coordinate daily operations with sub-contractors, suppliers, client representatives, and trade counterparts (Civil, Structural, Mechanical) to align project workflow.
Perform site inspections to monitor work progress against key milestones, resolve technical conflicts, and verify adherence to approved designs.
Testing, Commissioning & Handover Plan and drive Testing & Commissioning (T&C) procedures to validate system safety and performance prior to power energization and operational handover.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults, integration issues, and equipment failures on site.
Compile and update testing logs, commissioning reports, Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals, and as-built drawings.
Safety, Quality & Statutory Compliance Enforce site safety standards by performing risk assessments and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Coordinate statutory inspections and approvals with local utilities, government bodies, and certified professionals (e.g., Licensed Electrical Workers / Professional Engineers).
Commercial & Procurement Support Estimate material and labor requirements, assist in tender preparations, and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
Verify sub-contractor progress claims against actual site completion and track equipment deliveries to maintain project timelines.
