For our location in Rödental, we are looking for you as a Senior Design Engineer (m/f/d) in product development.

What to expect

Implementation of product specification requirements into product and part design

Creation, evaluation, and presentation of technical concepts

Independent development of product- and process-oriented tolerances, taking into account the requirements of quality management

Consideration of electronic requirements in the design (e.g., clearance and creepage distances, protection against contact)

Virtual verification of the design through the application of suitable CAD/CAE tools

Execution/consideration of all processes necessary for the design/development of a production-ready product within the framework of the primary process "Develop products"

Creation and maintenance of design and project documentation

What you bring

Bachelor or Master (Maschinenbau, Mechatronik, or Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen) with at least 3 years of professional experience, alternatively Maschinenbautechniker with at least 5 years of professional experience

Sound CAD knowledge (CATIA 3D Experience is an advantage, alternatively CATIA V5)

Knowledge of PDM/PLM system 3D Experience is an advantage

Sound knowledge of plastic- and metal-appropriate design of individual parts, assemblies, and systems

Knowledge in the field of toolmaking (injection molding and stamping/bending tools)

Knowledge in the field of tolerance calculation for assemblies and systems

Basic knowledge of standards and machinery directives

Basic knowledge of processing and production technology

Knowledge of project management methods

Knowledge of quality guidelines and processes

Knowledge in the field of Design-FMEA and product risk analyses

PC/Office skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

English skills (conversational; technical English)
