Electronics Hardware Development Engineer (m/f/d)

We are looking for an Electronics Hardware Development Engineer (m/f/d) for our Adelberg location at the earliest possible date.

Tasks:

• Technical responsibility for the internal standardization of design, development, and verification for electronic hardware and its documentation processes in sensors and actuators for automotive applications
• Checking and correcting electronic designs, electrical specifications, and associated customer documents
• Configuring and managing ECAD software versions and templates for electronic development documentation
• Supporting RFQ processes for automotive sensors and actuators for European and American OEMs, including responsibility for electronic design in technical customer solutions
• Building and maintaining supplier relationships to gain early access to new technologies and applications in the pre-development area
• Supporting global procurement planning and decision-making in the selection of ICs and electronic components used in various product lines
• Supporting global procurement planning and decision-making regarding integrated circuits (ICs) and electronic components for various product lines
• Participating in the planning and execution of FMEA, DV, and PV tests as well as functional safety fault injection tests in product development

Your Profile:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or equivalent degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, automation technology, physics, or a comparable field of study
• At least 4 years of professional experience in the automotive electronics industry
• Good knowledge of position, speed, pressure, or inductive sensors as well as their application in drivetrains or electric drive systems
• You are familiar with prototype and product development processes and have experience in product verification and validation according to ISO and OEM standards
• Experience in EMC-compliant PCB design and in the application of layout rules and design specifications for high-speed applications as well as for power electronics using EDA software (e.g., Altium, Cadence, PADS, Multisim)
• Experience in the design of electrical circuits
• Experience in circuit simulation with EDA software or in PSpice/LTSpice for the verification and interpretation of circuit designs
• Good knowledge of automotive qualification standards and tolerance values for electronic components and materials
• Knowledge or professional experience in the field of Functional Safety according to ISO 26262 is an advantage
• You speak fluent English. Other languages are an advantage
