About Wocan Location
Wocan Location is a ski rental shop based in Landry, specializing in delivering equipment directly to resorts.
We work mainly in the Paradiski area, with an international clientele. Our operation is different from a traditional rental shop: a large part of our activity takes place directly in the resorts, where we deliver and collect equipment from our clients, in chalets or apartments.
We also welcome clients directly at the Landry shop and have a workshop for maintaining and preparing our rental fleet, as well as performing maintenance services for our clients.
As a human-sized company, we prioritize a simple way of working, based on autonomy, mutual aid, and a good working atmosphere.
The position
The Skiman / Delivery Driver position is mainly paced by the arrivals and departures of our clients.
Weekends are generally dedicated to deliveries and equipment returns, with many client departures and arrivals in the resorts.
During the week, activity is more focused on the maintenance and preparation of the rental fleet, as well as client follow-up. We also remain available to intervene in the resorts when a client needs an exchange or a modification of equipment.
During deliveries, you will regularly be required to work alone with small groups of clients. It is therefore important to be able to organize your work, manage the different stages of a delivery, and ensure good contact with the client autonomously.
Your main missions Prepare rental equipment: skis, snowboards, boots, and poles Perform necessary adjustments and checks before delivery Deliver and collect equipment directly in resorts, in chalets or apartments Install and adjust equipment with clients during deliveries Advise clients and ensure high-quality reception Perform equipment exchanges or adjustments when necessary Maintain and prepare the rental fleet Participate in workshop work: sharpening, waxing, maintenance, and small repairs Perform maintenance services for the shop's clients Organize, check, and track equipment Participate in the good organization and daily operation of the shop
As the activity is strongly linked to the rhythm of school holidays and client arrivals/departures, the organization varies throughout the season.
Work mainly on weekends during high-activity periods to ensure deliveries and equipment returns During the week: fleet maintenance, equipment preparation, workshop, and possible interventions for our clients At least 1 day off per week during school holidays Minimum 2 days off per week outside of school holiday periods
The goal is to maintain an organization that meets our clients' needs while maintaining a balanced team operation.
What you need to know about Wocan Location's operation
Delivery represents a significant part of our activity. You will therefore regularly be required to work autonomously, especially during deliveries for small groups.
Contact with an international clientele is also an integral part of the position: English is therefore necessary to communicate with clients.
A driver's license is essential for travel and deliveries in the resorts.
Experience as a skiman is highly appreciated, particularly to quickly become autonomous in the preparation, adjustment, and maintenance of equipment.
