Your tasks

• Recording, processing, and coordinating technical service inquiries
• Tracking and documentation of forwarded service orders
• Technical support in preparing offers for machine modernizations and retrofit projects
• Adaptation, optimization, and maintenance of SPS programs
• Adaptation and further development of classic as well as web-based visualization systems
• Technical support via telephone and email including error analysis, troubleshooting, and implementation of technical corrections
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation as well as elaboration of spare parts specifications
• Support during commissioning domestically as well as during international service assignments
• Close cooperation with design, project management, and service

Your profile

• Completed technical training with further training as a state-certified technician (m/f/d), Elektromeister (m/f/d), or a completed degree in the field of electrical engineering, automation technology, or a comparable discipline
• Several years of professional experience in the field of automation technology or technical service
• Good knowledge of SPS programming and automation technology
• Experience with Siemens SIMATIC S7, TIA Portal, or comparable control systems is an advantage
• Very good English skills in spoken and written form
• High IT and system affinity
• Independent, structured, and proactive way of working
• Teamwork skills, flexibility, and high commitment
• Class B driver's license as well as willingness to travel
