Fluggerätmechaniker / Aircraft Mechanic (m/w/d)

Your tasks

• Carrying out assembly and structural work on aircraft in accordance with work orders, technical drawings, and maintenance documentation
• Processing components by drilling, riveting, and cutting, as well as applying sealing and coating systems
• Ensuring compliance with applicable safety, quality, and aviation standards, particularly FOD guidelines
• Performing visual quality controls as well as documentation and reporting of deviations
• Supporting adjacent technical areas such as mechanics, structural assembly, electrics, and hydraulics
• Participating in the continuous optimization of workflows and manufacturing processes

Your profile

Must-have

• Completed vocational training as Fluggerätmechaniker, Industriemechaniker, Metallbauer, Strukturmechaniker, or in a comparable technical profession
• At least two years of professional experience in the aviation environment
• Confident handling of technical drawings, manufacturing documents, and maintenance documentation
• Knowledge of aviation-specific safety regulations, especially in the area of FOD
• Good English skills (at least B1)
• Willingness to work shifts as well as occasional weekend shifts

Nice-to-have

• Experience in the Airbus or commercial aircraft environment
• Knowledge in mechanics, structural work, as well as hydraulic, tank, or air conditioning systems
• Confident handling of aviation-specific tools (e.g., riveting tools, torque wrenches, drilling machines)
• Authorization to operate aerial work platforms or comparable work equipment
