Your role in our team

• You further develop and coordinate sustainability management as a company-wide cross-functional function
• You are the central contact person for internal and external stakeholders on sustainability and ESG topics, e.g., for departments, customers, suppliers, banks, auditors, and other partners
• You monitor regulatory requirements and translate them into practical solutions for WITRON in cooperation with the departments
• You coordinate and support the implementation of reporting and disclosure requirements in the context of sustainability
• You are responsible for the establishment, maintenance, and further development of the ESG database, including structured collection, verification, plausibility checks, documentation, and quality assurance of sustainability-relevant key figures
• You actively participate in the creation and further development of the Corporate Carbon Footprint
• You conduct materiality analyses and support ESG risk assessments
• You contribute technically to CSRD reporting: from content coordination and data validation to technical coordination and quality assurance
• You manage cross-departmental ESG projects and prepare decision-making bases for management
• You participate in selected waste and energy topics: particularly at the interface of sustainability, CO₂ accounting, and resource efficiency

You are a good fit for us with

• a completed degree related to sustainability, environmental or industrial engineering, business administration with a focus on sustainability management, quality management, or a comparable field or a successfully completed commercial or technical vocational training related to energy, environment, or sustainability
• professional experience in energy, environmental, or sustainability management
• knowledge of or initial contact with relevant norms, standards, and regulatory requirements, e.g., CSRD or ESRS, EU-Taxonomy, CBAM, EUDR, PPWR, or GHG Protocol, as well as the willingness to familiarize yourself with new topics
• very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• strong analytical skills, high data affinity, as well as experience in the analysis, preparation, and plausibility checking of data
• very good communication skills as well as good subject-related English skills
• initiative, teamwork skills, as well as an independent, precise, and structured way of working
