Purchasing and Supply Chain Manager Industry (M/F)

Job Description:

We are looking for a Production Buyer to join a demanding industrial environment, at the heart of performance and quality challenges. Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you are a key player in cost optimization and securing supplies. This position offers high exposure to operational teams and strategic suppliers. In this context, your missions are as follows: Manage a production purchasing portfolio, ensuring the availability of components and raw materials.

• Define and deploy purchasing strategies within your scope, in line with group objectives.
• Negotiate commercial conditions with suppliers (price, lead times, quality, logistics). Ensure supplier performance monitoring and implement improvement plans.
• Work in close collaboration with internal teams (production, quality, methods) to anticipate needs and resolve issues.
• Participate in cost optimization through sourcing and re-design to cost actions.
• Secure supplies by identifying and managing supplier risks.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects and purchasing transformation initiatives.

Profile Description:

With higher education in purchasing, supply chain, or engineering, you have significant experience in a similar position within an industrial environment. You master negotiation techniques and purchasing processes, and are comfortable managing technical suppliers. A good understanding of industrial constraints and production challenges is essential. Professional English proficiency is expected. Autonomous, rigorous, and possessing excellent interpersonal skills, you know how to work in a team and evolve in a demanding environment.
