Plant Project Manager (m/w/d) (Project Manager)

As a Plant Project Manager*, you will support existing and new customers from various market segments with a focus on technical aspects and solutions from plastics technology, and you will successfully implement both won customer projects and internal plant projects in cooperation with the specialist departments.

• take full technical responsibility for customer projects, e.g., from the Mobility sector, from the time of order and Design Freeze onwards, and actively manage them during the industrialization and validation phases.
• communicate proactively with customers, develop customer-adequate solutions, and act as the primary contact person, e.g., during meetings at the plant.
• plan tool sampling as well as measurement capacities, implement quality-relevant requirements, e.g., from IATF 16949, and evaluate and coordinate change requests.
• coordinate APQP, PPAP, and quality processes including risk and change management.
• develop and implement quality methods and process standards such as FMEA.
• plan, manage, and control the project budget including the corresponding resources in cooperation with the Customer Project Manager and the Plant Manager, monitor project schedules, and coordinate technical acquisitions.
• independently manage plant and organizational projects while considering economic and project-related goals.
• actively participate in efficiency and cost reduction projects for products and processes and contribute improvement and solution suggestions.

You are a good fit for us if you…

• have successfully completed a degree in engineering (e.g., industrial engineering), further training as a technician, or a comparable education and training.
• have several years of experience in a comparable position, ideally in the Automotive sector.
• have knowledge in the field of plastics injection molding technology and tool technology.
• are familiar with the requirements in the Automotive sector.
• are customer-oriented and flexible.
• are an empathetic and friendly personality who enjoys working and communicating with people and possesses organizational talent.
• have good written and spoken English skills.
