Production Engineer

Admor Composites Oy manufactures container and vehicle tanks for demanding liquid transport. The composite-structured tanks we develop are a competitive alternative to traditional metal tanks, especially in the transport of certain chemicals. Composite tanks are also lighter, which can lead to significant savings, for example, in CO2 emissions. Admor is one of the first and leading global players in this field, and most of our production is already exported, mainly to Europe. Admor Composites is a sister company of Muovityö Hiltunen Oy, which has been operating since 1969, and we currently have 8 people working in our production. The company is in strong growth, and our goal is to multiply our production capacity in the coming years.

Now we are looking for a PRODUCTION ENGINEER for Admor Composites Oy for a permanent position!

Admor currently has an exciting employment situation and a feverish need for additional personnel for the office side.

As a production engineer, you will play a key role between production and personnel, being responsible for the smooth running of production, quality, safety, and schedules.

Your workday includes, among other things:

• Planning, scheduling, and monitoring of production projects and procurements
• Management of materials, inventory, and production tools
• Production planning, capacity resourcing, and scheduling
• Tendering of materials, checking invoices, and allocating them to projects
• Archiving and management of materials for production projects
• Post-calculation of production projects, reporting, and monthly calculation of work in progress
• Quality and occupational safety, including the development and monitoring of related processes, documents, and measures
• Measurement/monitoring of production efficiency and its development
• Monitoring and developing the cleanliness, occupational safety, and order of production facilities (including the yard)

The work is mostly office-based computer work, in addition to some observation of the production side and communication with personnel. On the system side, ERP (EAsoft) is in use. Generally, proficient use of software is of primary importance.

What do we hope from the applicant?

• A suitable higher education degree, e.g., in production, mechanical, or industrial engineering
• Interest in developing production processes and problem-solving
• Good cooperation and communication skills
• Previous experience in project management or production control in the reinforced plastics industry or manufacturing industry is considered an advantage
• At least reasonable English language skills, as the majority of procurements are made from foreign suppliers
