Agri-food Industrialization Engineer (M/F)
Job Description:
Within the Industrial Operations Department, you will work in close collaboration with the R&D, Innovation, Quality, and Purchasing teams, as well as with various industrial sites and external partners.
Your missions
Development and industrial trials You will manage and coordinate industrial trial programs in connection with development and innovation projects.
In this capacity, you will: Participate in the definition and planning of industrial trials Organize and conduct trials at different production sites Define and validate the manufacturing parameters necessary for process qualification Analyze the results obtained and identify areas for improvement in processes and line management Work with the R&D and Innovation teams to guarantee the industrial feasibility of new products.
Product Industrialization You are responsible for the various stages of product and packaging industrialization, from the development phases to their production launch.
You will ensure: Preparing and coordinating industrial trials Reliability of processes, manufacturing parameters, and operating procedures Supporting initial productions and process qualification Guaranteeing manufacturing compliance with defined specifications Identifying and addressing any deviations encountered during the industrialization phases.
Industrial transfers and continuous improvement In a multi-site and international environment, you will also participate in product transfers between different manufacturing sites.
You will contribute to: Organizing and securing industrial transfers according to the constraints of different sites and markets Optimizing processes and product performance Identifying improvement levers with internal teams and suppliers Deploying a continuous improvement approach for industrial processes.
Quality and documentation You will ensure the formalization and traceability of the various trial and industrialization stages.
You will: Write trial reports and formalize associated action plans Prepare the documents necessary for trials and initial productions Update technical data sheets, standard manufacturing parameters, and reference documents
Profile Description:
With a Master's degree (Bac+5) in agri-food, food science, or an equivalent field, you have at least 4 to 5 years of experience in development, industrialization, or process improvement, ideally acquired in the agri-food sector.
You have a good understanding of industrial environments and the issues related to the transition from development to production.
You master the main continuous improvement and problem-solving tools, notably PDCA, 5M, and action plans.
Your analytical and synthesis skills allow you to interpret trial results, identify the causes of deviations, and propose concrete solutions.
You enjoy cross-functional environments and are comfortable working with stakeholders from different professions: R&D, Innovation, Production, Quality, Purchasing, and suppliers.
Your interpersonal skills, autonomy, and writing skills will also be important for success in this position.
Proficiency in English is essential, as the position is part of an international environment.
Good proficiency in IT tools is expected; knowledge of Google Workspace is a plus.
The position involves regular travel in France and Europe, which may represent approximately one week every two weeks, particularly to various industrial sites and suppliers.
More occasional international travel may also be necessary depending on the projects.
