As a Development Engineer, you are responsible for the execution and follow-up of various development projects within our client's product line. Specifically, this means the following:
- You produce technical mold and die drawings, detail drawings, and component drawings, in both 2D and 3D;
- You also provide processing plans, catalog drawings, and internal documents (construction drawings, description of test setup);
- Later in the process, you are responsible for the development and elaboration of specific components from the assortment and support the Development Expert in this;
- You process data independently, research the necessary information, and work out various alternatives;
- You set logical deadlines for yourself and monitor your own planning;
- You validate your ideas through experiments using our Tech Lab and 3D printer, as well as testing full-scale setups in our unique test facility (15m high test wall) and test facilities abroad.
- You have a higher (bachelor) degree in Elektromechanica or Bouw, but if your skill level is equivalent through experience, you are also welcome to apply for our position;
- You have at least 5 years of experience;
- You have experience with CAD design and preferably have worked with Inventor & AutoCad;
- You have knowledge of structural calculations and/or production technologies for various materials (aluminium, steel, polymers, elastomers, rubber ...);
- You have strong analytical skills, are accurate, and detail-oriented;
- You have a strong affinity with our sector and preferably have experience with window and door systems;
- At the same time, you think outside the box, are a problem solver, and never lose sight of the bigger picture;
- You are proficient in English.
