Operational Buyer (m/f/d) Import (Merchant - Wholesale and Foreign Trade (Wholesale))

Buyer (m/f/d) with a focus on Import (30 to 40 hours/week)

Purchase internationally and keep an eye on the procurement process – from the order to the arrival of the goods at our premises. You will work with suppliers in Europe, the USA, and Asia and ensure that the right goods arrive at the right time. What we offer you:

These are your tasks:

• Procurement of our goods from all over the world
• Control and monitoring of import processes and international shipments
• Organization and coordination of transports
• Deadline monitoring and processing of deviations
• Coordination of import and customs clearance
• Support of international suppliers
• Data maintenance in the ERP-System
• Close cooperation with internal specialist departments

What you bring with you:

You have completed commercial training and enjoy managing your area of responsibility independently.

It fits particularly well if you:

• have training in wholesale and foreign trade, freight forwarding, and logistics services
• have practical experience in purchasing
• have basic knowledge of import and customs clearance – this is a plus
• have no hesitation with ERP-Systems and are proficient with MS Office
• have good English skills
• work in a structured, independent manner
