Plant Quality Engineer (f/m/d) (Specialist - Quality Assurance/Management)

We are looking for a Plant Quality Engineer who is responsible for quality in the plant. You will ensure that product and process quality is improved in a stable, measurable, and sustainable manner along the entire internal and external value chain. You understand production processes, identify causes, drive solutions, and work together with us to ensure that our products remain reliably in use worldwide – for buildings, industry, and water applications.

Your new area of influence

• Plant Quality: You are responsible for quality in the plant and with our suppliers.
• Ensuring Quality: You ensure product and process quality during ongoing operations and work closely with production, engineering, and logistics, keeping both technical details and the big picture in mind.
• Complaint Management (internal & external): You process internal complaints as well as supplier complaints using the 8D methodology and ensure sustainable root cause rectification. In doing so, you ensure that information flows, causes become transparent, and sustainable improvements are created.
• Root Cause Analysis & Measures: You perform root-cause analyses (e.g., 5Why, Ishikawa, FMEA) and derive effective corrective actions. Why did an error occur – and how do we prevent it from occurring again? These are exactly the questions that drive you.
• Audits: You conduct internal as well as external audits and support supplier and customer audits. In doing so, you ensure that requirements are cleanly prepared, professionally implemented, and traceably documented.
• KPIs & Reporting: You analyze and interpret KPIs as well as reports, thereby creating a sound basis for decision-making for quality and supplier management as well as continuous improvement.
• CIP / Lean: You actively participate in CIP and Lean initiatives and contribute your ideas when processes should become leaner and more stable. This keeps quality and production flowing together.
• Sharing Knowledge: You support and train employees on quality topics, explain methods understandably, and promote a shared quality culture.

Your qualifications

• Understanding Technology: You have a technical education with further training as a Techniker or Meister and bring relevant professional experience in the quality environment.
• Quality Under Control: You know and master methods such as 8D, FMEA, SPC, Ishikawa, and 5Why; knowledge of ISO 9001 as well as ideally IATF 16949 completes your profile.
• Processes in View: You understand production processes, analyze key figures reliably, and derive effective measures for quality and process improvement.
• Driving Solutions: You work in a structured, analytical, and consistent manner – even when causes are not immediately visible.
• Digital Systems: You use SAP S/4Hana + SAP EWM as your daily working system and actively promote digitalization topics and AI initiatives.
• Strong Together: You communicate clearly and distinctly, enjoy working in a team, and convince with assertiveness and a sense of responsibility.
• Open to Exchange: You have good English skills and are occasionally willing to travel.
