DO YOU LOVE QUALITY, BUT NOT POSITIONS WHERE EVERYTHING IS ALREADY WRITTEN?

Willefert, a textile industrial company of approximately 100 employees specializing in the manufacture of duvets and pillows, is creating this position.

Your objective: take charge of, structure, and advance the Quality & Compliance function, while remaining close to the field.

Creation of a position: some of the foundations exist, but much remains to be built. You will have strong autonomy and a concrete impact.

YOUR MISSIONS

Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you are the Quality & Compliance referent.

PRODUCT & SUPPLIER QUALITY

  • Manage quality controls before shipment and upon receipt.
  • Coordinate testing with laboratories and analyze results.
  • Control the compliance of materials and products: composition, grammage, dimensions, colors, appearance, resistance, manufacturing, packaging, labeling...
  • Manage non-conformities and supplier claims until resolution.
  • Monitor the quality of products manufactured on-site and second-choice products.
  • Define compliance criteria and drive improvement.

COMPLIANCE & CERTIFICATIONS

  • Ensure regulatory monitoring: REACH, POP, PFAS, product safety, REP...
  • Guarantee the compliance of marketed materials and products.
  • Manage OEKO-TEX and GRS certifications and monitor those of suppliers.
  • Prepare for audits and follow up on action plans.

CUSTOMERS & SUPPLIERS

  • Be the quality interlocutor for suppliers, laboratories, certifiers, and customers.
  • Respond to technical requests, claims, and customer audits.
  • Coordinate quality inspections requested by certain customers.

FUNCTION STRUCTURING

  • Evolve the quality documentary system.
  • Build tools, procedures, standards, and quality indicators.
  • Define priorities and the medium/long-term roadmap.
  • Advance practices with Purchasing, Production, Logistics, and Sales.

A POSITION TO BUILD

We are not just looking for someone capable of applying an existing quality system. We are looking for an autonomous, structured, and proactive person, capable of moving from vision to action. You enjoy solving problems on the ground while building a sustainable organization. You know how to build, but you also like to do.

AND CSR?

CSR is part of the scope, but is not a short-term priority. Once the fundamentals are structured, you will be able to develop, depending on your interest, topics such as EcoVadis, traceability, recyclability, recycled materials, carbon footprint, Citeo, or Ecomaison.

YOUR PROFILE

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Quality, QHSE, Textile, Chemistry, Materials, or equivalent, with ideally 3 to 7 years of experience in product quality, supplier quality, or compliance in industry or textiles.

You master quality control and the processing of non-conformities. You are comfortable with Excel and have professional English.

Above all, we are looking for an autonomous, pragmatic, rigorous, and curious personality, capable of structuring a subject from A to Z.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Creation of a position and scope to be built.
  • Strong autonomy and a transversal role.
  • A human-sized industrial company in a structuring phase.
  • A position combining operations, continuous improvement, and medium/long-term construction.

Do you want to build rather than simply manage what exists? Then let's talk.
