We?re a mid-sized, forward-thinking accounting firm in rural Alberta, and we?re looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Technician to join our team. If you enjoy working with numbers, solving problems, and supporting real businesses in our community?while building a strong, long-term career?this role is for you.

*The role*

You?ll work directly with clients and our accounting professionals to prepare accurate financial information, support compliance and reporting, and help deliver high-quality accounting services.

*Qualifications *

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience with accounting software, familiarity with QBO, Xero, Sage and/or Caseware is desired
• Hands-on experience with processing payroll, benefits and T4s
• Strong organization, attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
• Ability to prioritize workload, work independently, meet deadlines and collaborate effectively in a team
• Certificate or Diploma in accounting or relevant practical experience
