H&S Specialist - Central (w/d/m)

To strengthen our central H&S team, we are looking for an analytically strong, process-oriented, and experienced:
H&S Specialist - Central (w/d/m)
Your Tasks
Implementing Group Standards: You will take over H&S guidelines and standards from our international group, translate them purposefully, and prepare them in a practical manner for our Austrian locations.
H&S Portal & Data Analysis: You are responsible for the maintenance and further development of our H&S portal. You will analyze accident statistics as well as H&S data (Excel / PowerBI) and derive effective prevention measures from them.
Training & Culture: You will create modern training materials and rollout concepts for safety campaigns and support the plants in implementing a proactive safety culture.
Site Presence & Inspections: You will be regularly on the move (approx. 2 days per week) at our production sites throughout Austria, conducting safety inspections and acting as a competent specialist partner for the local plant management. Additionally, you will coordinate the external safety support for our sales branches.
Operational Support in Plants and Branches: In the event of longer, temporary absences of safety specialists in the plants, you will flexibly and actively take over the operational SFK representation directly on-site at the plant. You must show a willingness, if required, to also take over the SFK support for smaller branches.
Your Profile
Certification: Completed training as a safety specialist (SFK) according to the Austrian ASchG is mandatory.
Experience: Several years of professional experience in the HSE area of an industrial company (preferably heavy industry, building materials, or chemical industry); experience in dealing with Austrian authorities and labor inspectorates is an advantage.
Additional Training: Training as a fire protection officer is an advantage.
Additional Qualifications: Knowledge or certifications in the integrated management system (Quality/Environment, Energy) are a big plus, but not a must.
IT & Languages: Very good Excel skills as well as the willingness to work deeply into PowerBI; good English for smooth communication and translation of group specifications.
Personality: You convince through strong communication skills and create acceptance and trust at all hierarchical levels – from the shop floor in the plant/sales branch to management at the headquarters. Analytical precision characterizes you as much as a strong hands-on mentality and the flexibility for temporary plant assignments.
Mobility: Driving license B and high willingness to travel within Austria (day trips).

The collective agreement for the Stone and Ceramic Industry applies to this position, with a collective agreement minimum salary of EUR 4,256.51 gross/month (use group IV). We offer a market-conforming, attractive salary package with the explicit willingness to overpay, depending on your individual qualifications and experience.
