We are looking for a customs clearance specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in customs procedures and regulations, and be able to handle clearance operations efficiently.

The role involves working with CargoX NAFEZA systems and requires knowledge of customs documentation and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Job responsibilities

The customs clearance specialist will be responsible for managing customs clearance processes, coordinating with relevant authorities, and ensuring timely clearance of goods. The candidate will also be expected to maintain accurate records and assist in resolving any issues related to customs clearance.

Additional duties include collaborating with logistics and supply chain teams to facilitate smooth import and export operations.

Requirements

Proven experience in customs clearance and related procedures.

Familiarity with CargoX and NAFEZA platforms, as well as ACI (ACID) systems.

Good understanding of customs laws, HS codes, and import/export regulations.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems is preferred.

Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly.
